REQUIREMENT FOR EXPANSION TO CURRENT PRODUCTION FACILITIES – FLUES FOR 60KG ROASTER
BACKGROUND
Neighbourhood Coffee Company Ltd. is the first specialty coffee roaster in Liverpool, sourcing, roasting and distributing some of the world’s finest coffees. We partner with café’s, restaurants, offices, hotels, and other hospitality outlets, to deliver awesome coffee to end consumers. We also train baristas, source, supply and maintain coffee machinery, and offer private label services. We employ 10 FTE with a production floorspace of 3,000 ft2 and have grown from formation in 2014 to now roasting over 80,000 kg of coffee in the last calendar year.
REQUIREMENT
We plan to purchase and install a 60kg coffee roaster to increase our roasting capacity. This RFQ is for the flues required to vent the roaster exhaust, cooling fan exhaust & catalytic emission cleaner.
DELIVERABLE TIMESCALE
We expect the project to commence no later than 1st May 2022 and be completed no later than 30th June 2022.
EVALUATION CRITERIA
Quotations will be assessed and scored on the following criteria:
Cost/Value for money 30%
Deliverability Within Specified Timescales 30%
Meeting Specification Details 10%
Supplier Suitability 30%
SCORING METHODOLOGY
4 Excellent | Proposal meets, and in some places exceeds the required standard |
3 Good | Proposal meets required standard |
2 Acceptable | Proposal meets the required standard in most respects, but is lacking or inconsistent in others |
1 Poor | Proposal falls short of expected standard |
0 Unacceptable | Completely or significantly fails to meet required standard or does not provide the relevant answer |

Proposals should clearly demonstrate how they meet the requirement set out above.
