If we only had one method of making filter coffee, it might just be this one. Japanese simplicity of design, 60 degree angle for optimal extraction, and perfect for 1-2 cups, especially if teamed up with a server.
The V60 is a really easy way to brew great coffee, and has become a staple of the speciality coffee industry. We use them every single day, and they’re one of our favourite ways to make filter coffee. With a bit of practice, anyone can make well-extracted brews.
This is the 2-cup glass version, which is pleasingly heavyweight, and dishwasher safe. 2-cup brewers will easily make 500ml of brewed coffee.
You also get to join the ongoing conversation about exactly the right way to brew coffee using them, and after a few months you’ll swear yours is the best. Also available in plastic for the clumsy, ceramic and even copper and gunmetal for the perfect kitchen accessory.
Papers are not included – we prefer the white papers, available here. Whatever you use, please remember to rinse with hot water prior to adding coffee.
